our room was located away from the main hotel meaning we didn't have full access to our all inclusive deal that we had paid for. Our room wasn't safe fro kids and had large holes in the deckings as well as raised sharp edges. The cleaner constantly left our door open for mosquitoes to come in meaning my wife was badly bitten. The restaurant constantly left food on the floor under tables when seating everyone meaning our feet were in food. There was no lighting to our room and with a path with missing tiles became a trip hazard walk.

Just got back from 5 nights stay and unfortunately would not return. It’s definitely not a 5 star even by Greek standards. I have stayed in many 3, 4 and 5 star hotels in Rhodes and other Greek islands and this is a very average 4 star. The positives: The outside and reception has the wow factor! Very impressive. Staff are happy, helpful and friendly. The whole place is kept extremely clean, which I would expect. The food is fine, the pool areas and the beach restaurant are well set up and mostly you order from a menu and get table service which is great. The main lobby bar is lovely.. 5 star feel.. table service in the evenings and had singers there on one night we were there which was great. Negatives: our room (4004) was clean but very basic, nowhere near a 5 star feel. It had a tiny terrace with a small table and 2 chairs, then opened up to a dry patch of grass and concrete view of the next row of rooms. The shower flooded the bathroom each night and lots of ants on terrace and room (problem with ground floor!) Having walked around the complex I think we actually had the worst rooms they had with regard size and location. Some have wonderful spots near pools or the beach etc... assuming in general these cost more! Main restaurant food fine, always something ok to eat, felt more like a canteen.. so some wear very casual clothing including ripped jeans, shorts or beachwear in. On occasions our drinks we ordered when we sat down did not arrive until we had finished our meal... can’t imagine how they will cope when the summer holidays hit! All staff were very nice though which is great. We wanted to keep our room until 3pm on the last day. Check out is midday. You have a 3pm or 6pm option. 3pm costing 30 euros and 6pm costing 60 euros. I requested to extend via e-mail before our holiday and was told to ask whilst there. On our 2nd day I asked and got told to come back the day before departure as they would not know until then. The day before departure I returned to reception and was told they would put my name in a book but would not know until the following morning (the day we were leaving) so our day of departure I returned yet again at 8:30am and got told they would not know until the manager arrived at 9:30am so I would have to come back then!!! I returned at 9:30am and got told no.... they were full!! They offered a shower room. I said I didn’t want a room other people had used etc (yes I’m a bit fussy but I find strangers hair in the shower and bath and sink very off putting!) she said if I took the 2pm slot then we would be the first of the day so I agreed. At 2pm got key and went to the room only to find it dirty, rubbish everywhere, a pile of around 10 dirty towels all over the bathroom! Not impressed! Whilst waiting to leave the hotel lots of people were checking in. I heard a receptionist telling someone who was asking about late checkout that the sooner they added his name to the book the more likely it would be for him to keep his room!!!! She said she suggested he add it there and then on his first day!!! Why was I not told this? Also, she gave him loads of details about the resort.. far more info than I had. So you need to be lucky with the check in receptionist you get as some appear way more helpful than others! The resort is huge!!! The positive to this is nowhere ever really feels over-crowded as it’s probably nearly a mile walk from one end to the other. The negative is that it’s really hard to find things, the signage is awful and it can be a trek in 35 degree heat whenever you want to go somewhere! Never got round the main pool as there are several restaurants around it which leaves room for only about 20 sun beds! Lovely I imagine if you get up early and reserve one as it’s big but so quiet .. as no many people there due to lack of sunbeds around pool. Overall it’s fine. So if you have booked it will be ok... if you haven’t booked then I would say there are so many much better hotels for less money.

I am staying with my 5 y old daughter at this “hotel” right now, and just now (9:30pm) there is a big party starting just next to my room (really next!), with VERY LOUD music. How come does a hotel organize a party like that just beside the rooms? I will never get to sleep, my daughter either. She has sensory processing disorder and is extremely sensitive to noise! I cannot measure how disrespected I am feeling. Not to mention the terrible food and terrible service. On the first night, staff was working outside my room at 0:30am, laughing and talking loud. When I got outside to complain they laughed at my face! The only nice thing about this hotel is the children’s area, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel just for that. You will probably find a place with better kids area and where they will respect your sleep and rest.
