Gran Vía is a major street in Madrid, famous for its impressive architecture, shopping, theaters, restaurants, and nightlife. Walk the streets and soak in the atmosphere, especially in temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees....

This famous street was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century, stretching 1.3 kilometers long and six lanes wide. The imposing buildings house theaters, cafés, luxury boutiques, and shops. It was very nice to walk here, a lively, popular place with many beautiful shop windows. It reminds me of the atmosphere of the elegant boulevards of Paris.

Madrid version of Oxford street in London, so many stunning buildings and shops. Never seen rooftops so beautiful and ornate, Mixture of stores , hotels and grand places. This is a very busy street, so not relaxing to walk along. Nicely lit up at night, with some attractive buildings. But not a great place for a stroll....
