      These 1 bedroom family rooms feature a clean and fresh style with splashes of colour on neutral walls. You’ll have room for 4 with a twin bedroom and 2 extra beds. There are sliding doors to help separate the room at night. And there’s a balcony which is ideal for that extra bit of space. Rooms come with a TV, Wi-Fi and ceiling fan, plus air-conditioning is available from June to October, depending on the weather.

    We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the sea bank, hotel was overall really good there were a few minor things that didn’t ruin our time here but maybe could be improved slightly. The rooms were very clean and tidy air con wasn’t quite cold enough and neither was the fridge. This is the best food I’ve had at an all inclusive resort before, the specialty restaurants were brilliant (especially tramun taghna and the Asian) but you must book as soon as you can because the get booked up. The only one we didn’t go to was the jungle as we just ran out of time. Drinks were good but I did speak to someone who had been before that said cocktails used to be a lot better than they are now. You could always manage to get a sunbed even if you aren’t an early riser. We did have a power cut that lasted around 45mins we were eating in the Brazilian restaurant at the time and the staff we’re brilliant and we still managed to have our meal even in darkness! We travelled as a group of eight with ages from 63 to 12 weeks and was great for all ages, there are a few adult restricted areas like the pool bar and the main bar which is annoying when you have children and can’t go in. At the time we stayed there where hundreds of wasp/honeybees which obviously isn’t the hotels fault but were very annoying, the staff cleared all cups to try to avoid this. The pool area is ridiculously slippery (my 4 year old wore pool shoes which were a god send) as a result of this a lady fell over and broke her leg while we were there which was horrific. The kids pools are brilliant when the sun gets too much as the pirate ship is completely shaded. The animation team were very friendly and the entertainment in the dome of an evening was really good. Overall we all had a lovely enjoyable holiday!

    this hotel was really good. clean and staff very friendly. since our last visit an adults only pool has been added. only given it a four star rating as the food got a bit repetitive. across the road from a sandy beach although we didn't use this as people were crammed like sardines on sunbeds. frequently used local transport to get around bus stop just across the road from the hotel which was really convenient and cheap. plenty of entertainment at the hotel ( every night ). would recommend this hoyel to anyone ( couples or families ). thank you to the staff ( reception, waiters, bar staff and cleaners ) all great
    Worst holiday ever

    We have just came back from the worst holiday ever!!! After a long day of travelling we arrived and were quite happy with what we saw until we got to our room, well where do I begin...it was roasting hot the air-con is shocking might as well go without! We were on the 6th floor with a 2 year old which was easy for her to climb. Day 2 of our holiday a poor lady slipped around the pool on the disabled access I seen this happen as I was sitting pool side, to say this was upsetting and disturbing with 2 young children is an understatement her bone was sticking out of her leg, it took 50 mins for an ambulance to arrive meanwhile crowds were gathering and staring to which the 2 hotel staff did nothing about! I overheard one of the hotel staff asking the young lady was you in or out of the pool, she was more concerned of the hotels reputation than the state of this poor lady’s wellbeing! Their duty of care was horrendous towards this poor lady! It took 4 days for them to put a ‘slippery when wet’ sign in that area. As the days passed me and my husband seen several children and elderly fall in that exact spot as we WALKED around the poolside we noticed that there were several spots covered with slime and algae..no wonder ppl were slipping it’s like an ice-skating ring! Day 3 of our holiday there was a power cut for 45 mins ppl were sitting in the main entertainment area with the torches on off their phones 🙈 I later found out that on that same night 6 ppl were stuck in a lift and there was also a burglary with still no apology other than sorry the power will be back on in 3 Maltese minuets 😏 the staff are rude it doesn’t take much to say please/thank you or a smile! And for the locals where do I start...this hotel is a big and very busy hotel but they seem to like to get their money’s worth with inviting the locals for day trips the queue’s were horrendous you had to wait 20 mins to get food or drinks as ppl would push in front and barge past it was like a cattle market! The hotel has lots of restaurants to eat from but don’t be fooled by this option as there is only one you can access when you like all the others you have to pre-book and to be able to do this is impossible as there always fully booked so you have no choice to eat in the Cattle market....All this is just a taster of our holiday from hell all I can say is I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!
    A hidden gem - pure luxury in Malta

    Amazing from start to finish. Stunning hotel with amazing staff. Rooms were perfect with great air-conditioning, balcony, hairdryer and fridge and were cleaned wonderfully daily. The pools were all fab and the entertainment for my 5 and 8 year old girls, at the kids club was brilliant. Anjita was fabulous! Endless yummy cocktails on the all inclusive deal were fab and we enjoyed these at the adults pool bar while the kids were at their club. The food- delicious and deserving of Michellin 5* We dined mainly at the Coral in the evening because the variety was so vast and you could get a table easily outside in the evening with beautiful views over Mellieha bay. The Jungle restaurant and the Italian restaurant were great also. Everything felt safe with a security person always present and a nice family-feel. The towel rental system worked well and you could get fresh clean towels everyday. The evening shows were nothing less than spectacular and like something you would see at Broadway- the dancers were so talented! We arrived VERY late on our first day- at 1am and we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered us some food. The location of the hotel is right opposite a sandy beach and a short 20min walk to Mellieha (uphill) but the hotel has everything you could possibly need - including a very well-stocked shop. My kids cried on the day we had to leave. It was such a wonderful trip and I couldn't recommend the DB Seabank enough to anyone heading to Malta.

    Had a great holiday here in June with husband & friends will definitely come back good choice of food lovely room with sea view could not find any negatives.Liked the adult pool as it was nice to be able to relax and read without children
