I've stayed here before so I thought it would be okay again? It was not. I understand the price gouging for Basel but these rooms were $700. No wifi. No working elevators. There's on elevator that can be reset and can also cause you the scare of your life getting stuck in it. No additional elevators go to the 10th floor where I am. Great property in a great location! Service is top notch and we always feel welcomed. Two pools, beach service and a great outdoor dining option with a tiki bar will be why we come back. Location was convenient , service and the food was all 5 star . Poolside bar and grill was better than the restaurant we picked for dinner . The staff was excellent helped with parking , pool side staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms...

Red flag that you cannot see more than 10 reviews on their website. I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel back in August. The remodel of this historic hotel was done on the cheap, and as a result, the rooms are poorly designed with no storage or hanging towels near the sink and a sink faucet that did not properly line up to the sink (so they just installed the faucet too far away from the sink so that it jus...
