    A holiday to the Pestana South Beach Art Deco Hotel plonks you within earshot of the city’s longest belt of sand, called Miami Beach.

    Recharging your batteries is a doddle here. The hotel’s centrepiece is a tucked-away pool, which is wrapped up in a ribbon of cream-coloured loungers and umbrellas. There’s a café-cum-bistro, too, where you can chow down on the likes of quesadillas, pizza and pancakes.

    You can trundle over to Miami Beach’s silk-smooth sand in a five-minute walk. It racks up over seven miles of sun-worshipping territory, so you’ll have no issues starfishing out here.

      The Mermaid Café and Bistro has you covered for all three square meals of the day. Breakfast is the American classic. Bagels and pancakes as well as a selection of fresh juices and pastries on offer. For lunch and dinner tuck into a feast of foods with America, Brazilian and Portuguese influence. Be that burgers, pizzas, salads and more. There's also a wide range of cocktails on the menu that includes all the Miami favourites - the mojito, the margarita and the Cuba libre.

    Stayed at the Pestana as part of our Southern states anniversary trip. Having been to Nashville,Memphis and New Orleans on route to Miami before a weeks cruise.Naturally cruise cancelled. . However the staff and management once they knew our situation could not have been better On the day of our 50th they provided wine and a bbq for us free of charge. Thank you all for kindness and excellent service and once this crisis is over we may return to really appreciate Miami and the Pestana John and Vera Nelson Gt Yarmouth England

    Very nice hotel. Advice on arrival for excursions. Hotel calm and very well located. I would return with pleasure. Cleanliness Ok, Breakfast ok, swimming pool nice. Good Address! i will come back with pleasure

    My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to a cruise holiday. Check in was easy and we were asked if we had any preference for our room in terms of which floor it was on. We were allocated a room in block 3 on level 3. My only criticism is that there is no lift in this block but we did get assistance with our luggage. there is a lift in the main block. Once in the room we were pleasantly surprised at how brightly decorated and modern the interior was... it really had a wow factor. The view wasn’t great, we looked straight at the building next door, but hey, it didn’t matter as there were lots of nice places to go sit around the hotel if you wanted a better view. It’s in a quiet street (not much traffic) and was nice to sit out front of the Hotel. Everything you need is in the room, TV, fridge, hair dryer, safe etc There is a lovely pool in the middle of all the blocks. I wish we had been staying longer to get the opportunity to use it. We booked the breakfast at the hotel. If was buffet style and really good quality and value. The bar prices for a beer are really reasonable. The hotel is in the art deco area in South Beach and is conveniently located for easy walking distance to Collins Ave, Ocean Drive and Lincoln Avenue Mall. We loved this little hotel and really hope to get back some time.

    Enjoyed the pestana it was a nice stay staff was helpful close to the beach and my family. Would stay again but the breakfast situation is silly. 4 ppl can stat in a room but your reservation was limited because I said only 2 of us were in the room.

    Lovely small hotel, great location. Easy to get to from the Airport, we used the 150 bus for $2.50 each. Muscle Beach, Lincoln shopping mall, Versace’s mansion, now a Restaurant and Ocean Drive, all only a short walk away. Rooms surprisingly spacious, kept very clean. Heated pool a huge advantage as is the close proximity to the beach and broad walk. Ample restaurants locally but would highly recommend the breakfast in the hotel. Reception staff were very keen to please and were very helpful.
