It looks like a cool hotel -- BUT if you're staying for work or actually want a good night sleep - I wouldn't stay here. Honestly, I didn't use the pool or gym or rooftop so that may be a great experience, but the lighting situation in the room and the horrible mattress (why would I want to sleep on a bumpy couch?!) made me not want to go back. I spent 3 days at the Yotel Miami! I was amazed by the beautiful city of Miami. The hotel is well located near to Bayfront Park, Bayside Marketplace, Kaseya Center Miami, the Miami Tower and the Freedom Tower. Many restaurants are near to the hotel. Across the street, there « First Station » of the Metrorail. It is free. Many places are accessible by metromover and bus. But if you can rent a car, its definitely a ...

The location was the biggest selling point right by Bayside market place. The self service check in whilst people may like, lacks that personal touch for people knew to the area with inability to ask for information. No information in the rooms, room was dirty and I had to clear rubbish from under the bed. Mattress was waterproof and the sheet didn't fit proving for an uncomfortable stay. This situation proved disappointing from what was an otherwise decent stay.

Due to a system malfunction at this hotel my credit card information (used for holding the reservation) was allegedly deleted and I would have to repay for my stay. I told the supervisor on duty that I had used my debit card for check-in and the refund has NOT posted to my bank account. She kept showing me the printout of the refund to my debit card, which was the same day (Dec 15th), as if that solved my problem.

We travel often for work and leisure, and we have never experienced the level of disregard and inconsistency we encountered during our five-night stay at YOTEL Miami Downtown. What made it especially frustrating is that this stay took place on an extremely high-demand weekend (Art Deco Weekend), when the nightly rate was raised to nearly $450 per night triple the hotels usual cost.
