A surprise in the room!

Perfect location in the heart of Montreal and across the street from the train station. There had been a snowfall shortly before our arrival. The inclined sidewalk leading to the hotel entrance had not been completely shoveled. While attempting to get to the door I became totally bogged down in mounds of slushy snow chunks with my suitcase and cane. Luckily two gentlemen leaving the hotel took my suitcase and escort...

The staff are very friendly . No bottled water in the room and for the price i feel there should be . Was not pleasant to be filling our water bottles or getting water for the coffee pot from a faucet in the bathroom next to the toilet. The bedding is very tired and should be replaced - like now! pilled comforter with black pilling ... Need real garbage cans not the little tiny things that can barley hold the co...

There is a lot to like about this hotel: good location, good gym, safe in the room, clean etc. I pay attention to detail and when a hotel in this class does not offer complimentary bottled water in the room i find it to be very tacky. Competing hotels in this class do so and they do so in abundance. This seems cheap to me. Cant expect guests to drink from the bathroom faucet next to the toilet. Another annoying i...

Why does a hotel allow, what seems to be, hundreds of unruly children in a very nice hotel. It seems there was a children's competition locally and whoever was in charge of them, were useless. The children took over the pool and were chaotic with no supervision. Ruined our stay. Otherwise all staff were helpful and personable....

Our stay at the Bonventure was fabulous°

I went with my daughter and her 2 young children for a 4 night stay! It was amazing, and the staff in the hotel were outstanding and so helpful and kind!! The pool area and garden area was so beautiful!! There was a dinosaur exhibit in the same building which was a real hit!!
We loved Montreal and we hope to return! We would stay here again and I will recommend this hotel to family and friends!! It was so nice tha...
