    Foodies are in luck at this place, too – there’s a Medieval-inspired restaurant, an Indian place and a burger joint all within the hotel itself. The highlight is the brunch place, though, where the menu features everything from duck ‘n eggs to oatmeal brûlée.

    As much as this hotel has to make you want to stay, it puts so much on your doorstep. Both Central Park and Fifth Avenue are a 10-minute walk away.

    Lovely stay but overpriced

    Had a lovely stay here and an almost fantastic view of Central Park, however, certain things within the hotel are over slightly over priced compared to similar accommodations close by. I would stay again.
    Stands the test of time

    I enjoyed my stay at the Parker. Wonderfully located, I was also lucky enough to have a room on the 22nd floor looking right up Central Park, so I couldn’t have done better really. The hotel far from new, although the large lobby areas have been kept up-to-date, and rather grand really. As for the room, they retain some of the original features, but some of the stone, marble and wood finishes they use, in my opinion, stand the test of time as the quality was good; a little rough around the edges, but comfortable and cosy. American beds are a little soft for my liking, and near the windows it was perhaps a little cold, but no other real complaints. I would have liked to see more conveniently located wall sockets, with some USB chargers perhaps, but these will come in the not-too-distant future I’m sure. Downstairs I didn’t like the feel of the bar/cafe much - distinctly un-cosy; the basement gym was cavernous, and well kitted out, if a little dark and dingy in appearance.

    The location was excellent for my busienss trips. Neighborhood had good restuarants and felt safe at night. The fee's were a bit hide, but the gym was solid and no major complaints. Clean room and nice staff. All and all, I'm satisfied.

    I am 100% Satisfied with this Hotel, is in an excellent location, comfortable and clean, super customer service. It was a good experience, is close to all the good places to visit in New York City, and accesible to all kind of transportation. Very convenience Hotel
    Very deceptive hidden fees

    Beware - they add on a "destination fee" of $38/night to your bill for "hotel amenities" regardless of whether you use them. This is a deceptive way of charging more without including this in the room rate, that way they can look cheaper when you're shopping for a hotel. In all my years of personal and business travel I've never had a hotel do something like this. I called them asking for a refund since I didn't use the amenities but they refused since this was shown in my confirmation email. (No bad for not reading this with eagle eyes). If you're cool having your bill padded, then go for it - it's a decent hotel in a good location. But I can't countenance the deceptiveness of their billing.
