    The Wellington is the oldest continuously operated hotel in New York City, and it's held onto its old-world charm. The first-rate location makes it a great base for exploring, too.

    Nowhere does old-school glamour like The Wellington. You’ll be met by a lobby with intricately patterned carpets, marble-clad walls and a glittering chandelier. The rooms follow suit, with hints of dark wood and gilt-edged mirrors. Plus, some of them overlook the park.

    This hotel is less than a five-minute stroll from Central Park. On the way, you’ll pass world-famous concert venue, Carnegie Hall. If you head in the opposite direction, you’ll reach the bright lights of Times Square within 10 minutes.

    Good hotel for price and location. Had the one bedroom delux suit. Room was great size for NYC also had fridge, microwave and sink. Would stay there again. Close to everything and a couple blocks from cental park.

    We had a great time on our holiday. The hotel was the perfect location. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel was clean and beautifully set out. I have recommended this hotel to friends and would definitely return.

    This is the 2nd time we have been to this hotel and its perfectly situated for exploring this wonderful city The staff are friendly and helpful and we look forward to staying there in the future The hotel is going through a modernisation at the moment and I hope it will look as good as before Overall we had a good stay

    I would hope that at some point the management will find a way to fix this problem as I have stayed in this hotel 3 times now and will never be back because there is no real evacuation plan for elder/handicapped guest!

    There was an emergency from road works outside and the hotel lost power and the elevators were out. The roads around were closed. The hotel should have had more people to help the elderly get downstairs with luggage and to walk with guests to where taxis were available.
