Check-in/out was simple, staff was friendly, price was good, parking was easy (albeit expensive), location is GREAT, rooms were clean, overall a very nice stay. The rooms are just a bit dated, TV is old and small without the ability to stream. ...

The Fosshotel Baron is excellently located close to the waterfront and also close to the shopping district. Well within walking distance to all the good spots in downtown Reykjavik. Would definitely stay there again....

We were not happy with the room. It stank when we came in and we slept under the beams. My son hit his head on the sloping roof above the bed. At night I bumped into a pole in the middle of the room. ...
