Great hotel I'm great hotel location!

It was a very clean and nice hotel in a great location! We had a king room and it was a good size! And the staff were wonderful l! Especially the front desk staff and especially Asa (pronounced Ausa) who was so kind and helpful!! We could walk to so many shoes, restaurants, the Harbor and even the Hallengrimska church....

Unacceptable noise levels

The noise level in our room (305) was unacceptable at 95 decibels for sustained periods. This room must be soundproofed or come with a health rating and a reduced rate. Otherwise, daytime use only! This was booked as a family room. Luckily we were not traveling with children....

Modern hotel, with comfortable beds, nice and clean bathrooms, and good breakfast.
When it comes to location, it combines the best of both worlds - within walking distance to sights (like the Rainbow Road, Hallgrimskirkja etc) as well as bars and restaurants (from 1 minute up to 15 max), but without the noise of loud music and rowdy crowds late at night.
Keep in mind that hotels in Iceland usually don't have A/C but ...
