Grand Palace seems tired and is too noisy

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 21 January 2026.
Great things about this hotel:
1) The staff. They are truly excellent, smile and are highly attentive. I found this before my stay via email correspondence, at reception, in the breakfast room, and with housekeeping. The standard was very high throughout my stay.

A great hotel with a great location riot in the middle of old town beside the presidential palace the rooms are super cozy nice shower and bath tub, friendly super staff can arrange everything you need...

When my son got married in Riga, our extended family stayed here. I cannot praise the staff enough! They are kind and professional. We filled the restaurant the night before where we had an excellent meal together and then all enjoyed breakfast in the stunning Orangery. The hotel even organised hairdressers for us. A fantastic hotel, right in the centre of the old town, only a short walk from all of the sights. A very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with the feeling of being pampered as valued guests. We experienced the highest standards of service in a beautiful, historic building with great rooms and a lovely bar and restaurant. It cetainly lives up to its many international awards and we would wholeheartedly recommend it...

I can honestly say from start to finish this was outstanding! The moment the hotel welcomed us with a glass of homemade mulled wine and ginger cookies, we knew we were in for a treat. This hotel is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are stylish with great modern finishes, yet holding onto old fashion charm.
