The hotel is in a great location. Very convenient for the airport and the town. It is a safe area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
The hotel itself is very nice: great facilities in the rooms and the hotel, all in good working order. The staff were very helpful.
I did not eat at the hotel but used the bar and it was very good.
The atmosphere was calm and pleasant and the staff were very helpful....

'I've stayed in 5 star hotels around the world. This Grand Palace is a diamond tucked away...from the crazy hustle bustle of the big city..I have been a guest 3 times...now I plan my yearly get aways to BEAUTIFUL RIGA, Wonderful,detail oriented, accomodating personable staff. What a great four days we had at this fabulous hotel just a few minutes walk into the old town.
The staff were very friendly & the decor of the hotel was sublime.
We had a fantastic Valentine's dinner & a big shout out to Evita for organising a wonderful Birthday cake for my wife....

We had a 3-night stay. Very nice and tentative staff. The room had good space, the bathroom had bathtub and very nice floor-heating.
We got drinking water and small chocolates every day.
The breakfast area was nice and with a good selection of foods (I really liked the fruit salad and the chiapudding). The made different egg-dishes on order. The coffee was also nice!
