Unfortunately, our stay fell short of the standards typically associated with a four-star hotel

The higher-priced Superior room was located on the attic floor, which was inconvenient to access: you had to take the elevator to the third floor, walk along a corridor to a stair gallery, then continue up a metal staircase and through a narrow, low attic corridor.

Very happy with our time at the Konventa Seta and its great price, big, clean, comfy room, super convenient location and bonus view of St. Peter's Cathedral out our window. They had a decent breakfast which you could fill up on but for me, I didn't want to spend too many calories there (why does everyone undercook eggs?). The only complaint in the room was the lack of outlets, specifically not having one next to one ...

Fabulous central hotel, you can walk everywhere from here really easily.
The breakfast was good, enough choice for us, you might struggle with little ones that only eat cereal though.
Rooms are really big, extremely clean and the beds are super comfy!...

This hotel is just lovely. Its in the perfect location in the middle of the old town but tucked down a little side street away from the hustle and bustle yet all of the sights are within easy reach.
