Location is good as walkable from the Main Rome Rail station. Also, a subway entrance right at the front door. Rome hotels are expensive so this hotel was lower price compared to a Hilton but the value is good. Hotel breakfast is optional...

I expected more for the cost and star rating of the hotel.
The bed was not comfy and the couch was held together by duct tape.
The rooftop is nothing to write home about, not worth booking for that.

Has a Metra station right outside the hotel.
There are plenty of restaurants around for breakfast through dinner.

Clean rooms, calm hotel, perfect location. breakfast was delish with homemade cakes all kinds of juices THE BEST coffee. I met with 4 receptionists and 1 of them was nice to me. Please, when you work in a hotel at least try to be nice and speak English, I'm not a loud American, trust me, but I can't speak Italian. The receptionist was really mean and the forced smile like I killed his dog really got me.

This hotel was adequate. However, it was far from a four star. I dont have super high expectations, but the area of the hotel was a bit dirty and rundown, with homeless folks sleeping near the entryway. The staff was friendly and kind. The room was small, And basic....

A Good Hotel!

It was a good hotel, off the tourist path. A short walking distance from the train station and right next to a Metro stop. Easy to get to the rest of Rome from Hotel Napoleon.
Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was quite good, I'd recommend it for Americans. Lots of options.
"Off the tourist path" means the closest restaurants were Indian, Sri Lankan, Nepali and Chinese but since we were in Rome ...
