We booked based on the recommendation of friends who have stayed at the property multiple times over the years. What a disappointment. They happened to be visiting at the same time and were so apologetic. There has been a change in management and staff and it really shows. Do not stay here! This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The room was not clean and smelled terrible. The walls were filthy and we found dirty socks behind the curtain. Also, the bathroom was disgusting. It's close to the Rome train station but very far from everything else....

This is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. The interior was so shabby, floorboards lifting, damp Walls with wallpaper and skirting boards coming away. Bathroom smelt of sewage.
Really filthy .
Outside window was equally filthy. Photos show the poor conditions....

Only 1 socket in the room, so you could have the fridge or light or kettle on. The walls were covered in a pale textile, but had vents high up with strange dark grey stains around them, reminiscent of smoke . Red carpet/ harsh velvet on skirting boards and bed head. The table was a computer desk that had chips all over it. Paper cups, no coffee sachets, 2 t bags per day, no spoons or milk
