A good little hotel. Room was on the small side, but who cares? You don't come to Rome to stay all day in your room. Just need it to sleep in and have a shower. There was a very slight smell to the room. It's probably the detergent used somewhere to clean the room, but opening a window soon sorted it out. This was our third visit to this hotel as we liked it for its pricing, location, nice staff and rooms. But this time everything was fine apart from the room we were given. We expected a small room but the bed was hard, the pillows were hard so really didnt get much sleep. The windows were covered so couldn't see out but seemed like we were cast aside to the back with no view. Just the back of the hotel. Before we had...

Just back from Italy where the Lirico served as our base in Rome for 4 days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The air conditioner was effective and quiet. Everything in the rooms was in good working order. The Fridge was a nice touch, but small. Breakfast was typical European solid with excellent croissants and coffees. Really nice hotel, nice staff and comparatively good prices
Location: Near the train station but it feels safe. Very Italian corner (not as touristy as the Trevinos fountain)...

Worth the price .

great location, helpful staff, and the room was just what we needed. The AC actually stayed cool. there's a flight of stairs, but the staff helped with our luggage. It's a 10 min walk from the train, and 15 to the big sites. Great food options in the immediate area....
