Cocktails are terrible. Expensive and lack alcohol. No cucumbers for the Hendricks and tried charging me 22 euros for a weak Hendricks with a slice of orange. They advertise the cocktails, but its not a cocktail bar. Even worse I had spent over 800 euros on a meal for two and 1500 staying at their sister hotel. Clearly dont appreciate customer satisfaction and were prepared to argue the point to the pint of a shout...

The Favorita is just glorious and I can't praise it enough. We were in a beautiful room with panoramic views of La Concha - sat there for hours watching the dogs, the swimmers, the waves. If you can afford to pay the little extra for sea view rooms, really recommend it. I'd actually not bother with a balcony off-season, because the balcony obscures the view. All you need is that wonderful huge window.

Outstanding location, service, food and drinks. An incredible value for the money. Rarely have we felt so pampered. We cannot wait to come back to enjoy the rooms and the ambiance. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time....

We loved the Hotel Villa Favorita. It is a new high end boutique on the beach walking distance to Old Town. The rooms were great in all details and the service top notch. The bar breakfast room overlooks the ocean. There is a Michelin Two Star (Amelia) in the basement which we did not try. The promenade on the beach is a magical 5 kilometer walk. We loved this stylish little boutique hotel which had stunning views of the ocean. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. All meals were lovely, with a varied menu. With close proximity to the beach ( less than 5mins ), shops and restaurants I was totally at home on my first trip to San Sebastián....
