Room Mate Gorka is a beautiful hotel. Located in the city centre, close to the beach and old town. Great for walking to get some Pintxos! The hotel has a modern luxury look and feel.
The workers were very friendly and helpful.
The bar next door also has delicious Pintxos and wine. ...

Great hotel and location spoiled by late checkout fee after 35 minutes

Stylish, traditional-modern design and architecturally beautiful hotel in a very central, location, 5 mins walk from the old town and beach, located on a square with small park and resident swans.
Our stay was soured by 20 late checkout fee after 35 minutes....

We spent two weeks in Spain and France recently. This was our favorite hotel. The reasons are many including g superb and friendly service from the people at the front desk, great location, absolutely beautiful room with all we needed, well-appointed bathroom, subtle and calm decor, and a lovely breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights in a duplex room, which had a lounge and toilet downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The room was really clean and fresh with loads of space. We hardly had any noise from other rooms, and the only noise from outside was the semana grande fireworks (which was hardly surprising!) had a great sleep due to the very comfy bed and black out curtains.

Location was fantastic, within walking distance of La Concha Beach and the old town. Thats the thing about this hotel that I liked.
Nice park in front of the hotel but there are also 2 bus stops right in front of the hotel. Really noisy right from the early morning to late at night. Sound proofing is bad; not only noise from the street, but also footsteps of guest(s) from the room(s) above, although fortunately ...
