We stayed in three hotels on our tour of Northern Spain and this was by far the most impressive. A spacious clean room, a fabulous buffet breakfast with delicious coffee, and a very friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel is close to a bus stop that will whizz you 4 stops into the town in the evening, although we had two lovely meals in the hotel bar....

This was our chosen hotel for the first ever BA/Avios/Wine Flyer tour to San Sebastián. Being located around a 20 minute walk from the centre means it was more reasonably priced and had all the features of a top hotel. Reception was friendly and helpful, breakfast plentiful and varied and everything worked. The only downside seemed to be the decor which resembled an unfinished plastering job, but that is really small...

Discrimantes persons with disabilities

Without any reason (just "No") they don't allow guide dogs, therefor the Silken are discriminating to persons with disabilities who are not treated equally by the Silken.
The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Equal Treatment on the Grounds of Disability or Chronic Illness Act, is not applied by the Silken San Sebastián!...

Comfortable Stay at Silken Amara Plaza

We recently stayed at the Silken Amara Plaza during our visit to San Sebastián, and it was a good experience overall. The hotel is located slightly outside the city center, which worked well for us as it offered a quieter environment, while still being within walking distance or a short car ride to the main attractions, including the Old Town and La Concha beach.

Pleasant enough

Stayed here with family .its very central within walking distance of the main promenade. the staff in the bar were very friendly. Not so much on reception I found. Its very clean and food choices were good. we did find that there was lots of mosquitoes in the bedrooms which meant we all got bitten quite a lot. Also the cost of parking was prohibitive at 25euro per day....
