    The La Piscine Art Hotel's a boutique spot that boasts top-notch à la carte meals, a great pool and a romantic atmosphere.

    This hotel's been recently renovated to feature a roomy outdoor pool. It's surrounded by large sunbeds with umbrellas and there's also a poolside bar where drinks and light snacks are served. The first-class restaurant plates up gourmet meals and has over 150 bottles of wine to choose from.

    If you want to head out, there's a bus stop right outside that makes exploring easy. It gets you to a cluster of beaches. If you'd rather get your step count up, it's 10 minutes on foot to get Skiathos Town's lively harbour.

    We have just spent a lovely, relaxing 10 days at La Piscine in the middle of September and would definitely recommend the hotel. The hotel is about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the centre of the town and the harbour, where you will find all the shops and tavernas. The staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very hard to make sure our stay was perfect. The cleaners even visited the room twice a day. Breakfast was buffet style but had just about everything anyone could want, including freshly prepared cakes and pastries every morning. You could even ask for freshly made lattes from the bar. Nothing was too much trouble! The crazy cow restaurant served delicious food and you could sit outside around the pool. Our room was very clean on arrival and had a view of the pool. The room was large and had everything we needed including a very strong shower. Pool towels are provided and beach towels available from reception where you can book various excursions.

    Stayed 1 week, expected more luxury from a 5* hotel, the standard room first offered had a communal balcony with pool view, situated over the bar that played music, not quiet or private, kindly offered a small deluxe room at the back of hotel, small balcony very close to neighbours but slightly more privacy, adequate room but not 5*. Breakfast okay but not quality food. No problem with cleanliness, staff excellent. Sun beds comfortable but very close together. It is an adult only hotel situated in an unattractive area very near ring road, about 10 minutes walk to harbour, not a picturesque walk. Previously spent 1 week in a 4* hotel on Skopelos which was far superior to this hotel.
    Weeks break on Skiathos. Wanted to stay in main town.

    Picked this adult only hotel in Skiathos Town. Could not fault it. Have travelled to many Greek islands since 1977. This is one of the best. The hotel is in a perfect position around 10 mins walk to the restaurants and bars. Mind you the hotel restaurant is first class and was a treat on our last night. It is also nice and quiet at night. Makes for plenty of zzzzs. Above all the staff were excellent and nothing was to much for any of them. Would we go there again, in a heart beat. Many thanks Jack n Jan.

    A lovely welcoming small hotel with modern rooms and good bathrooms. Extremely good staff who are all very personable and try that little bit harder. Breakfast buffet was enormous and more than enough choice for any diet. Easy to do things in and around the area being only minutes from bars and cafes. Initially wondered if we were too far out but no, only a 10 min walk to the front and a blessingle when it is busy as it makes it a bit quieter. The pool was an added bonus.

    Spent a lovely week at La Piscine in the middle of September. The staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very hard to make sure our stay was perfect. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waited suggested a wine to go with the food and was very knowledgeable about the extensive wine selection, the wine was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet style and had just about everything anyone could want. If it isn't there I'm sure they would do their best to get it for you. Nothing was too much trouble! Our room was very clean on arrival and waiting for us was a nice bottle of wine in an ice bucket and a plate of freshly prepared fresh fruit. This was pre ordered but well worth the extra. During our stay the maid kept the room perfect. Clean bedding and towels were always there. Pool towels are provided and beach towels available from reception. Hotel is a short 10 mins walk to town where there are lots of shops, tavernas, restraints and bars to choose from. The first couple of hundred yards from the hotel isn't very picturesque but it's lovely once past. la Piscine Art Hotel is well worth a visit.
