    The Filia Hotel's simple, laidback and close to the beach, with two outdoor pools and lots of Greek hospitality on offer.

    This hotel's known for its welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, neat and bright, with splashes of colour. All come with a kitchenette and balcony or terrace. There's a pool for adults and one for kids – with a poolside bar serving cocktails throughout the day.

    The hotel's in Stalis, a lively town and former fishing village on Crete's northern coast. It's about a 10-minute walk from the beach, while guests can enjoy shops, bars and restaurants in the town centre.

    Amazing Time

    I was going to write a review in August but forgot, but Thank you so much! You made me and sisters birthdays amazing. Filia was the friendliest hotel I have ever been to and I will never forget it. I will definetly come back some day, maybe with a few friends. Thank you, George, Billy and Micheal for an amazing birthday and stay, in Crete.

    Hi Michael.many moons since we visited you 3 holidays.myself and sisters and husbands.loved your place so much and glad to see we can get to you by easy jet now. My daughter donna was only younge and loved you all. So much so she has booked her honeymoon with you in June this year.I know you will all make sure they have a lovely time.wish it was alan and I.     Mum and dad stayed for two weeks beginning of July. Micheal, Billy and George were great and made their holiday. Dad has dementia and was looked after so well by Micheal, George and Billy. It certainly made my holiday better knowing they were being looked after so well. (Unfortunately we couldn’t stay with them this time). I emailed and asked for a ground floor room with easy access which they got. The room was lovely, clean and had all the facilities you require. Well what can I say about the food It was great with plenty of choice, my husband and I joined mum and dad numerous times for dinner, nothing is to much trouble for George. All in all a fabulous holiday and we made some lovely memories to treasure To top it off dad today decided he would like to return to filia next July so we have booked as a family. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

    Just stayed at the filia with my wife in a 1 bedroom apartment and my mother who had a standard double room. Both rooms were typical Greek being fairly basic but were kept immaculately clean and were well maintained. We had asked for an accessible room which was exactly what we got. It was very much at the end of the season and was pretty quiet but this had it's advantages as Michael (yammas) Mad Billy and quiet George had more time to chat with us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We were half board and had amazing greek food cooked for us by George in his little kitchen assisted by the hard working Helen. Altogether a wonderful week in Stalis and hopefully not our last.

    Just returned from another fab girls week here. Michael, George and Billy make everyone feel so welcome. Your greeted at the bar with a welcome drink with crazy entertaining Billy who remembers your name for the whole of your stay. We had several fun nights at the bar with him. We had asked Michael ahead of time for rooms next to each other and he gave us the rooms overlooking the pool with adjoining balconies...we had loads of room and lovely view. We had a problem with the shower which was fixed immediately, great service. Breakfasts are so good, loads of choice, full breakfast and continental , and George is more than happy to make any eggs of your choice. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Beautiful pool with the best sun beds ever. The hotel is ideally situated for the beach and restaurants/bars. Lots of great restaurants and the beach is lovely . Huge thanks to Michael and family and all his lovely, friendly staff. See you all next year.
