    Surrounded by palm and pine trees in its peaceful spot, the Hotel Vasilikos Beach sits next to the long, sandy shoreline.

    At this beach hotel, colourful gardens surround the pool area – it's got underwater pool seats and a whirlpool shaded by trees. A buffet breakfast's laid out each morning, and there's a snack bar by the pool for light bites. Every week, the barbecue area hosts a Greek-themed night.

    The hotel's in the laidback village of St Nikola in Zante's Vasilikos peninsula, a two-minute walk from a sandy beach – this part of Zante's known for loggerhead turtles that nest on the shore. For traditional Greek tavernas, Vasilikos is 10 minutes' walk away, and Argassi's nightlife is 20 minutes away by car.

    An absolutely wonderful stay with Hillary Rhea and all the staff. All Covid safe precautions are in place and followed to the letter, haven’t felt so safe in months. The hotel is just wonderful....and that pool!! We are not new to this hotel as we have been many times and are always treated as valued guests & friends. As well as the hotel having to deal with Covid we were also caught up in the Mediterranean cyclone, but despite all this we were really well looked after. The rooms are spotless as are all the communal areas, all Measures have been put in place to keep everyone safe and they are doing an amazing job! Thanks to Hillary & Rhea for going above and beyond for my stay!!!! Thank you to Yanni for all the wonderful Mojitos, but I have to say Sammy is close on your heels as the best mojito maker on the island!! Already looking forward to seeing you all next year!

    The wonderful efficient Tarji and the hard working Yannie behind the bar made this an enjoyable stay. When the hotel was built it must have been fantastic based on classic Greek architecture. It’s a bit tired now but some rooms are being renovated. We saw people walk in and walk away again as it doesn’t have a menu outside and there is no one there to greet you but come inside as the food is the best we tasted in the area.

    We booked the Vasilikos Beach Hotel last minute as we were trying to find somewhere to go on holiday that was not on the quarantine list. My husband and I had a brilliant week here, our first holiday in 23 yrs without the kids. Hilary, Rea and her team could not do enough. This hotel is spotlessly clean and a stones throw to wonderful sandy beach with clear shallow water. As well as comfortable beds there are water sports if that is your thing. As a hotel guest there are a number of beds that are free to use all day. We stayed in a superior room which was lovely and perfect for two. We ate at the hotel 3/4 nights and were very happy with the food. Yianni who runs the bar makes a mean cocktail and even dropped us to a restaurant one night (the owners son dropped us back). We had the most amazing hospitality from everyone we came into contact with, here at the hotel and the Island. I would go back here in a heartbeat, I am so sad that the island is suffering from the effects of the pandemic. I do hope we can return soon. Keep well. Jeanette & Theo.
    A great hotel, very clean and following all COVID-19 regulations

    My first visit to Zante for my sons wedding that unfortunately due to Covid-19 regulations didn’t take place! Lovely big room with all amenities. Ended up being here on my own but made to feel very welcome by Hilary (the English owner) and her family! Lovely staff who speak so many languages! Very quiet area but only 2minute walk to the lovely beach with lots of water sports and great beach bar and restaurant owned by hotel and no sunbed charges when showing your hotel key! Great food for snacks or evening meal at hotel. Big balcony overlooking the well kept gardens! Will miss my mates Bailey and Toby, the owners dogs😂

    A beautiful tranquil hotel set in a lovely quiet part of the island. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a poolside bar which serves a variety of food and drinks and the pool itself is a great size with a swim up bar and jacuzzi. Would thoroughly recommend.
