The room was reasonable. The location was excellent. Bit surprised when we thought we were at the Hotel Carlton Grand Canal where the app takes you initially. But the Hotel Carlton Capri is "out the back" so to speak. We got taken down some dark alleyways to the budget version .

Very tired hotel,rooms are tiny and uncomfortable...was noisy a couple of nights...I personally would not stay here again , I didn't find the staff particularly helpful, the location is OK but it's located in a residential area, can't blame the kids but they loved kicking a ball against the hotel wall...you reach the hotel down a narrow alleyway and late at night a lot of drunken people stagger on by...one was sing...

Decent size room but shower too small, beds rather firm. Good location just a very short walk from the Grand Canal, one of the alleyways that go to it gets locked at night but theres another only a short distance away (didnt get told about this). Breakfast room is rather cramped but its a decent spread for 10 and silver coffee pots and cutlery, the same every day. Most of the staff are rather grumpy but Simone th...

This hotel has a great situation set back from the Grand Canal but within easy walking distance for the bus terminus and the boat service
The room was large and comfortable which was just what we were looking for our trip. The staff wete helpful and spoke English...

This was a pleasant discovery. We reached the hotel late at night and we were greeted by a rather terse front desk person. Yet. after checking in we walked up to a room on the top floor that was nicely furnished and had a comfortable bed (perfect after our long flight). The hotel has character yet it has all the needed modern amenities. We will definitely stay there again!
