Beware - violation of privacy

Hello,
I am informing you of a violation of our privacy during our stay at the hotel Eurostar Residenza Cannaregio (Venice, Italy)
At 3:19 am, someone knocked on our door (room #111) and then entered our room.
We were terrified and couldn't sleep anymore. Immediately afterward, we also heard a lot of noise from other people in the hotel during almost 30 minutes.

Nice hotel, good breakfast and normal size family rooms. 20-25 min walk from the centre, but always a nice city walk! Close to a few nice restaurants and street bars....

The hotel is a lovely building and decorated nicely. The breakfast room is lovely but breakfast itself was poor! They had no proper English breakfast tea, and there were no fresh top ups of food. Food was cold and items missing if you went for breakfast anytime after 9am, despite it not finishing until 10.30am! Peaceful stay in Venice

We were given a room with a view right over the canal for our 2 night stay. Room was clean, air conditioning worked well during a heat wave. This hotel is in a quiet part of town, about a 20 minute walk from St. Mark Square. For us, that was a great plus as we were able to get away from the crowds every night....
