On arrival, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. He was very knowledgable of the area and recommended some bars restaurants and even a nearby shop (newsagents).
The property is tastefully decorated and features remain that show that it was once the home of the Venetian painter, Giacomo Favretto.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We loved it. We stayed in room 322 which had two large windows overlooking the grande canal. The room was spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, from the check in staff and porter, to the breakfast staff (who our daughter loved), room maid and bar staff. Absolutely perfect for my boyfriend's 30th!!
Could not fault one bit about this hotel, Absolutely gorgeous, all the staff are so friendly and helpful! Perfect distance away from Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square.

I really loved this hotel. It has so much rustic charm and the staff are so kind and welcoming. I took my Mum for 3 nights and she loved it too. Infact, we loved it so much, that tonight, we have just booked it again for November and we are bringing our partners. Cannot wait to return.
