Perfect stay! Cannot recommend the Placid Hotel enough!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Placid Hotel Zurich! Staff were very friendly and accommodating and always on hand for anything needed!
Seen some reviews complaining about it being out of the city. Whilst this hotel is not in the city centre, it is about a 2 minute walk from the tram which takes you right into the city centre and was very easy to navigate.
Also saw some people complain about the rooms not having...

Last month we stayed for two nights at Placid Hotel, where we enjoyed the top level of hospitality. The reception team, including Mr Fernandes and Melanie, was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and providing us with a free pass to Kunsthaus! The Maid delightfully decorated the bed in our room with rose petals. Breakfast was tasty and abundant. Danke schön!...

One word: Amazing! We stayed there for the Sabrina Carpenter, which means it was busy! But the hotel staff had a smile on their faces the entire time. We arrived one hour before it was possible to check in and we got our room right away, and even got upgraded to a suite. We were also in the hotel bar with the nicest bartenders ready for some small talk.
They also had a "pillow menu" where you could choose your own ...

This is a lovely contemporary hotel with the most interesting shower area Ive ever seen. Almost a full glass wall in the bedroom, but they will provide a curtain if you request one. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with many options. Melanie and Mr. Hernandez at the front desk were awesome! They helped us several times with tram and bus information which I might add is rather complicated until you learn it....

We didnt feel safe nor welcomed here. The location is in a warehouse area, and the front-line staff werent very welcomingespecially the girl (though luckily, I wont mention her name here). To make things worse, theres a window in the room that can be opened wide with just a button. The safety railing is minimal, only about one foot tall, which felt very unsafe and eerie....
