Kick-start your morning with a wander up the shoreline to take in Lake Achensee's multi-toned waters. Stop for a photo moment at the viewing platform, Aussichtsplatform am See, jutting out over the water about 700m up from the Seepromenade area.

Lunch
Restaurant Maximilian is a good choice for a well-deserved käsespätzle - a soft egg-noodle type dish, smothered in cheese - a cold drink and rest.

Afternoon
Continue on the lake path from Pertisau, which will take you along the lake and give you the opportunity for a bit of exploration in Buchau. Make sure to bring along swimming gear if the weather's warm, so you can go for a dip in the lake.
