Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival
A 20-minute drive from Colakli is the village of Belkis. Here, the world-famous 2,000-year-old Roman theatre is used to host a two-week-long opera and ballet festival every September. It was first held in 1994, and the event’s grown to become one of the most popular of its kind. You can see performances from singers and dancers from all over the world, including the Moscow State Ballet.
