Travel the island by bus
The circuit bus is a great way of getting out and about. A short circuit takes in the port town of La Savina and the beaches along the Trucador peninsula right down to Es Pujols. The long circuit goes to Formentera’s south-east tip and the lighthouse at Far de la Mola. It’s perched on a wild and rocky peninsula, so it’s easy to see why French novelist Jules Verne famously described it as the 'lighthouse at the end of the earth'.
