If you’re looking for a sun-worshipping session that’s away from Pozzallo’s town centre, Santa Maria del Foccallo Beach is your best bet. It’s a 10-minute drive away and is hidden from the nearby road by grassy dunes, which gives the place a really peaceful atmosphere. Style-wise, it’s au naturel, too, with a long sweep of sand that’s almost completely undisturbed. Just as a heads up, there are no sunbeds or umbrellas here – you’ll have to bring them with you if you don’t want to spread out on the sand.
