Corfu Town is only a short bus ride away from Pyrgi and is well worth a visit or two. The island’s capital is filled with places to be explored, such as Spianada square, which boasts the only cricket ground in Greece, and the sophisticated row of cafés, known as the Liston, which is modelled on Paris’ Rue de Rivoli.
