Tour the Rovinj Archipelago
From Rovinj pier you can take a boat tour of the nearby archipelago. These 19 islands range in size from the tiny Samer island to the larger St John at Sea, where Rovinj’s only lighthouse was built in 1853. The islands are too small to dock in but the views are best from the sea – the highlight being the 6th-century Benedictine Monastery on Saint Andrew’s Island.
