Senegal Independence Day
Senegal celebrates its Independence Day every 4th April, to commemorate when the territory won its independence from France in 1960. Most of the larger celebrations – like parades, dance parties and music shows – take place in the capital, Dakar. However, you might find smaller themed fiestas focused around Pointe Sarene’s commercial centre.
