With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.

At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.

This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

This was our second time at Nana Beach and I have booked again for this August! We had booked a sea view room, but when we arrived at the hotel we were upgraded to the newly built waterfront suites - this made our holiday! They were amazing! Particular mention to Costas on the reception who was wonderful, and took us on a buggie with our suitcases, which was a perfect introduction to the site for our family who had never been before. As previously, the food was excellent. There is always fresh salad, bread, copius amounts of feta cheese, and freshly cooked meats and fish. I can't understand people who complain about it! I visited the Greek restaurant on both my trips and the food and staff make this a fantastic night. The grounds are beautiful, and I don't think there are many rooms that will have a bad view. The gardens have magnificent flowers, including bird of paradise. The rocks that run the length of the site are my favourite place! There are 5 pools to choose from, which suit a range of moods. Can't recommed enough! So much so, that when we go back in August, we'll be there with new first timers - my brother and sister in law, 4 of our friends and their kids!More

Short review, fantastic place, good food, good location and nice rooms, staff service various a lot, but all in all good! Kids land with pool and playground. Its an all inclusive place and a really good one. Ala carte restaurants not as good as the big buffet restaurants though.More

Great place to spend nice family holidays!

We were in there in May, probably just when they were opening after winter as it was not everything open yet in there. Very nice hotel, rooms very clean and renovated, food quite good, a good selection of different foods, very close to the beach. Very friendly staff, they were able to do a lot to keep you happy during your stay. I was contacting them before our arrival with some room request and everything was as we requested :-) After our arrival we had one small issue at the very beginning, but it was solved very quickly with absolutely great customer relation Manager! After this we spent a lovely week in this hotel!More

Wonderful hotel resort, wonderful staff, ( especially the entertainment crew) wonderful food. Can't wait to go back and cannot understand the minority of negative reviews. There were no dogs wandering around, so don't let that put you off, and obviously the hotel cannot do anything about the weather!More

Good for families and couples.

This was the second year in a row we went to Crete but this year we were accompanied by our two twenty something daughters for a week in September. The nan beach is at the end of Hersonissos Bay and near to the town of Stalis, which was very good for shopping and entertainment. We had rooms with sea views in the main hotel section both were clean with plenty of room. There was an in room safe which had to be hired, which is a little disappointing when you are paying this much for a room. We were on an all inclusive basis and the food was the usual buffet with various "show cooking" at each sitting and a restaurants where you could eat outside - very nice for breakfast!. The food was generally very good and there were several different themed restaurants available, a Greek, Italian and Fish themed restaurant the Greek and Italian were very good - we did not try the Fish one so can't comment, there were also food kiosks around the pools which were more than adequate for a snack. The Hotel has its own private beach and more than enough sunbeds and umbrellas. There are plenty of beach and sea front places some of them secluded for peace and quiet, which was very welcome. There are about half a dozen different pools and at least one was adults only, good if you wanted to escape the kids. The main pool also has an in pool bar which was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and the animation team were extremely hard working. I must say that usually the entertainment at these places is a bit hit and miss but it was great here and the nightly shows were actually quite good, the girl's favorite being the Lion King tribute, absolutely hilarious! The food, drink and entertainment were good here and the only things we didn't like were the paid for in room safe and lack of free wifi - in this day and age you should not have to pay extra for these things, other than that I would fully recommend itMore
