With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.
At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.
This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

This is not our first and not our last visit to Nana Beach, and yet again we could not find faults. We book our holiday directly as this what works for us, the hotel help us with transfers and all works out very well. Rooms: We have always been happy with our room, they are all different and we always ask to be in a specific part of the hotel - which they always manage to accommodate what we ask for. Rooms have what you need, they do have a small fridge and TV, make sure you look at the book in the room and you will see which stations are English etc. Rooms are cleaned daily and left lovely. Bars: We used the main Panorama Bar most evening's, there is music some nights very relaxing and and enjoyable. Giannis is great, will make you a cocktail if you ask of whatever you want, as will all the staff but Giannis will make you one up with things that you like - just remember what's in it when you go back to get another. He makes a wicked White Russian :-). We also went to the bar by the main pool - great bar too with a lovely view. Restaurants: We tended to use the main restaurant - no complaints food always good and George (we called him George) and Ritza make sure you have a seat. The staf all go back year on year and remember you - which is lovely and makes it relaxing. We love the Italian and the Greek as preference, the Fish is OK but not our personal favourite. Beach Bar: Konstantina is a star, she works this by herself and remembers what you want each day and cooks burgers fresh for you always cold drinks and she even found ice for my wine :-) Pools: We only used the adult only pool, which was lovely. Can I remind people that having one small pool just for adults means that there is something for everyone. All other pools have children and family, the adult pool is lovely to just go and relax with a book and drift around the pool. I heard some families saying this was wrong, I personally think that was very unfair ! Complex: the whole complex is stunning, it is built like a little Greek Village with little pathways to get around. When you arrive you are taken to your rooms by a little buggy and they will collect you on departure too. Personally we can not fault this complex, staff go back year on year and that is great, Each time we are invited to a returners club dinner which is a lovely recognition for returning guests. It is even more lovely when guests from other countries at the dinner speak to you and recognise you from previous years #simplyfantastic. They must be doing something right for a club dinner if approx 100 people or more every week !! All staff from waitress to bar staff to management taket he time to chat and that is lovely. Special thanks also to Anna in the main restaurant and Posideon Pool, Alezandra on Guest Relations, Maria in Reception and Eva on bookings who all help with with my booking and also Giannis and all bar staff who are so patient when I can not decide what I want to drink. WIFI, working with technology every day I find it relaxing that there is no free WIFI, we take cards and travel games and have a drink in the bar playing games and actually talking to each other not via text and facebook!! Finally, each year we see investmanet in the hotel. It is family owened and the inject money back in every year doing something new from new sun beds to new buildings. Keep up the good work 'Mrs Nana', Family and all staff, we look forward to our next visit. Yammas :-)More
Just returned from 2 week stay at Nana Beach resort Would find it difficult to say anything bad about this lovely place. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and a special mention for Konstantina in the Nautilus (beach) bar,she always had time for a chat whilst doing numerous tasks at the same time, such a hard worker. The setting right on the sea front is amazing with 2 beach areas and further promenade with sunbeds and shades so you can be as busy or quiet as you please. Our room was comfortable and always spotless as was the rest of the complex.7 pools to choose from, some more busy than others, but you can always find a sun bed somewhere.Good selection of food in the buffet restaurants, 1 indoors with air con and 1 open air by sea front, the most fussy would not go hungry. Tried the Greek and Italian a-la-carte restaurants and both were exceptional, there is also a fish restaurant which did not try but others were recommending. At the beach the sea bed got a bit rocky in places a little way out so would advise beach shoes as some rocks were a little sharp edged.Entertainment during the evening was mini disco for kids and Animation team or outside acts for the later shows at 9.30. Some good some not so. There are 2 supermarkets near to hotel entrance and Thalis village is about 20min walk where there are lots of bars, shops etc. Herssonisoss town is a 2euro bus ride away, very busy there! All the above is only our opinion and you may beg to differ but for a retired couple this resort had everything. Chris and Ange, Chelmsford UK.More
A very nice hotel. Lots of pools. But you must be up very early to get a sun bed. After 830 no way. They claim to be a 5 star hotel. Just because you demand pants in the restaurant it won't turn your hotel into a 5 star place. Food is ok but boring. In my case it was 6 days waiting time to get table at the other restaurants in the hotel. But that food from the Greek place was ok. Thanks to the people in the restaurant It was a very good afternoon. The fish restaurant was also ok. But the variety could easily been better. It's supposed to be a 5 star..... and you might go to dinner before you are to hungry... Last but not forgotten. Ariadni Liza And Riziti from the breakfast area. You al make this place memorable. We've just returned from the Nana Beach Hotel in Crete to celebrate my 50th birthday with my 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son and had the best holiday we've had in years. The hotel is clean, spotless and very pretty, there are different things going on in different places all of the time so you can quite easily stay on site without getting bored. All of the staff are very polite, helpful and are just amazing. We booked two twin rooms in the main hotel, one for us and one for my son and daughter and when we got there we had been upgraded to two rooms next to each other looking directly over the sea, while the views were amazing, they had been given a double bed and went to reception to ask for two singles instead and were moved without problem to large twin room down the corridor. Towels, shower gel and water are replaced in the room each day and the staff are simply the nicest and so hard working. The food was out of this world with so much choice and extra trays were brought out constantly so it didn't matter if you chose to eat at a later sitting as there was just as much choice. There is a large buffet restaurant in the main hotel and an outdoor buffet restaurant by the beach, our preference was the smaller one by the beach for evening meals as it was a bit more intimate with a lovely ambiance and the men can wear shorts. We also eat at the three Al a carte restaurants where the food was exceptional. The bar staff were simply great, a really good laugh, served everyone very quickly and while the drinks were local brands, they were really good with some great cocktails (followed by a few hangovers!). People did reserve sun loungers around the pools at about 6 am which is difficult for those with young children but there are plenty of sun loungers on the complex so you can find an alternative (or do the same and reserve them yourself which we did do one day but it did feel a bit naughty putting the towels down and walking away), we chose to sit on the loungers along the rocks after that as it was quieter with no children, great for a tan and you could stroll down at whatever time you got up as there were plenty to chose from. There are pool ladders to get into the sea if you need to cool down but it isn't a suitable place for young children. We tried all of the water sports and its great that you can take a pedalo, canoe or wind surf for free each day. The only thing I would suggest to management is the long trouser rule. While it is a five star hotel, smart dress shorts can look just as good and dressy as long trousers, having to wear long trousers to go for a meal and then have to go back to the room to change was a bit inconvenient. My son and husband were uncomfortable in their long trousers in such heat yet girls could wear little skimpy shorts which didn't seem fair. That being said, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will definitely go back there again and I'm so glad I booked my 50th at this hotelMore
Arrived feel like I've been robbed for a week of wifi for one phone for a teenager 40 euros for 7 days......really? Went to the main restaurant and turned away for wearing chino shorts shoes and a button up shirt. Trousers only I'm told.. to see ladies wearing shorts and mini skirts.... kids in shorts..... Didn't look a fine dining establishment. Guy behind walks in in scruffy jeans and t-shirt and gets shown to a table....... :-( More
