With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.
At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.
This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

Lovely Nana Beach!!!
Stayed first two weeks in July...such a pretty complex, more like a Greek village than a hotel. We were lucky enough to be in a fairly central garden room, the whole complex is full of beautiful plants & flowers all well kept. The management have so much right, from the friendly staff who can't do enough to help (special mention to the two George's at the lobby bar & Maria at beachside restaurant) the cleaning is superb, the rooms nice & modern with fluffy lean towels & linen each day. The sunbed situation is a problem, we like the beach & were always able to get beds but sometimes went upto the pool mid afternoon & would struggle. Also would be nice to have free WIFI. The food and drinks we thought were very good, went into stallis & the beautiful koutalafari for a couple of meals & change of scenery. One slight improvement could be a lively band at the lobby bar a few evenings to make a change from the chill out type. Felt that was nice for the older people with the Disco at beach bar for youngers would be nice to have something inbetween. I would like also to see a kettle & bottle of water daily but to me, these are minor things. Loved this place & the staff. We will go back :)More
I spend hours on end searching for the right holiday and have quite a checklist of requirements I like to have in a holiday- may sound sad but i like to ensure my hard earned money is well spent. so I spend a lot of time on trip adviser. The Nana Beach hotel was a recommendation from a friend which sounded to have all the essentials we love in a holiday, unfortunately this did not prove to be the case. Good points = big complex rooms spread out so doesnt feel over populated Lots of different snack areas and ice cream/drinks available all day Free sunbeds and parasols on the beach Free pedaloes, canoes and other watersports available Lots of activities available to par take in if you wish to do so including a seperate teens club large variety of drink available- including mojitios on pump Nice areas to snorkel bad points = extra charges for WIFI - NOT what I expect in a 4/5* rated hotel extra charge for fresh orange juice ???? what?! Lack of sunbeds meaning you had to join the rat race to reserve them at 6:30am or run the risk of not getting any. ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS in the sea - all of us cut our feet and I refused to go back down there in the end - meaning a trip into Stalis to the beautiful sea and beaches ( 4E got ypu 2 sunbeds and a parasol) No review I have read mentioned the rocks and it really was a big deal. Long trousers required in all but 1 resturant at dinnertimes for men- even though some of the women barely wore a skirt or shorts Raw meat served so be very careful, we had raw turkey- literally with blood coming out of it! raw chicken, raw pork. Food repetitive not much my kids would eat other than pizza and cheese& tomato cobs. Entertainment other than a couple of outside groups way pretty poor - im sure they tried their best but again expect more from a higher starred place with nowhere close to go out of an evening- again Stalis is a good night out which we went too a few times t get away from same old stuff. All in all an average holiday maybe my expectations were too high to begin I don't know but I have stayed in better places and if going back to Crete would probably look for somewhere in Stalis to stay.More
Had super holiday here with my family. Lots of great fun entertainment for my five children while my husband and I sunbathed on the lovely beach. Water sports, pools, great food, great evening entertainment, great weather, great beech. We can't wait to come back!! More

Stayed here 5th - 12th july on a family holiday. The complex is large and we could always find sunbeds unless you want to go by the main pool where you have to be up at 7am to reserve. We didnt mind doing this for a few days throughout our stay. The food selection is vast but did get repetative. Be aware we noticed our meat was raw at least 3 times and witnessed charlotte from the animation team telling a chef off after the kids club were given raw chicken nuggets to eat. Males need long trousers in the main restaurant in the evening and the manager couldnt push us out the door quick enough when my husband had smart shorts on. There were however countless females allowed in wearing "hotpants!" Staff work hard but there is a long wait for food to be replenished in the restaurant and the women happily barge you with their trollies. The hotel was always clean and staff were friendly. You cant walk into hersonnisos its too far and didnt feel it was safe enough along a main road but stalis is close and enjoyable. Evening entertainment was varied and some of the best we have seen in comparison to other 4* hotels. Our room was basic to say the least. The door didnt shut well but did lock. It backed onto the delivery area and noise was constant from 6am. There were also numerous tree's outside the door that had the loudest noise coming from them from sunrise to sunset. When we investigated the tree was clear of any wildlife. It was in every tree all day everyday. We were glad to return home to get some decent sleep. Overall i would rate the hotel ok but wont be returning nor would i openly encourage others to go either.More

Hi. We are a family of four staying at Nana beach hotel in Crete. I will write a formal review once I have finished this holiday. Firstly, the hotel/resort IS very nice and set in beautiful location. However, there are a few issues. It is extremely frustrating that there are a lack of sunbeds and Parasols around the hotel's 5 pools and the beach. I am currently sitting by a pool on 1 sunbed in direct sunlight with a 4 and 6 year old. I have done this for 4 days now. It seems you have to get up before 6am to reserve a sunbed. Furthermore, ALL the sunbeds are reserved by 7.30 despite the numerous signs prohibiting this. Maybe this is because the sign is in English ! Very very poor service. This is not a cheap resort and there should be enough sunbeds/parasols for every guest but this is not the case. Please hotel manager listen and get some more sunbeds and parasols or have less people stay at your hotel !!!!!!!!!!!! A very small price to pay to make a holiday great. More
