With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.
At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.
This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

Another Great Holiday
This was our third consecutive holiday at the Nana Beach and yet again this lovely place ticked all the boxes. We stayed in the main hotel building in Room 221 and, although the room was smaller, it served its purpose, there being plenty of storage space two comfortable beds, a fridge and a bathroom with shower. The room was kept immaculate by the friendly chambermaids. We were, unfortunately, disturbed on our last two nights by someone nearby having a blazing row which lasted an hour and a half on one night then coming back to their room at 4am the following night (presumably having made up!) We mostly dined at the main Athina Restaurant and, although there were lots of children about most were well behaved and did not disturb us. The food was exceptional for an all-inclusive hotel and there was always plenty of variety and most days it was difficult to make a choice from the lovely food available. The staff worked very hard and were always friendly and polite. We spent most of our days at the Relaxing Pool which is a small grassed area with a plunge-pool with a Jacuzzi which is adults only. We never had any difficulty finding a sunbed or parasol here despite not turning up after a leisurely breakfast. Oh! the bliss of not having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve. Guests are provided with a card to obtain free beach towels which can be changed as many times as wished at any of the numerous pools. Most evenings we spent at the Dionyssos Bar where, despite queues, we were served by the excellent barman without too much delay. The quality and variety of drinks available was very good. Entertainment was provided nightly around the main pool or at the spacious outdoor amphitheatre. Twice a week there were acts of Cretan Dancers and singing which were very entertaining. There were also a couple of professional variety shows which were very good. The rest of the entertainment is provided by the hotel Animation Team. This was average but sometimes very funny but I must mention their Mama Mia show which was really excellent. Some musical entertainment is provided occasionally at the Panorama Bar in the main hotel where the staff are again excellent. Guests are entitled to dine at any of the three A La Carte Restaurants, Greek, Sea-food and Italian. We dined twice at the Firenze Italian Restaurant and found the food and the service to be of the highest quality. A must for anyone who stays here. I have struggled really hard to find something to criticize and the best I can come up with is the fact that the grass was rather long at the Relaxing Pool. However it was cut on our last day! All-in-all yet another great holiday at the Nana Beach. My wife and I cannot wait for our two weeks here in 2016 and we cannot envisage going anywhere else in the foreseeable future! Roll on 14 June 2016!! However I must conclude with a warning to anyone travelling to this part of Crete - Heraklion Airport is an absolute JOKE!More
A lovely hotel
We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were shown to our room in the main block (230).The room was very small and noisy as it was next to the lift and stairs above reception. We asked to move the next morning and we were given a lovely garden room overlooking the quiet pool in the 9 hundreds. Someone said the higher the number, the better the room. Plenty of pools to choose from, all with bars / restaurants for food and drink. We used the pool by the Poseidon restaurant. The drinks were help yourself which was useful. Always plenty of sun beds whatever the time. This was the first holiday that we didn't need to reserve any which makes it a lot less rushed and stressful. The food was good although in the evening it did start to become a bit samey. The main Athina restaurant is very busy with children everywhere, not a nice experience for us at breakfast or dinner. We preferred the outdoor restaurant for dinner. Beautiful views if you get a table outside, not so much choice food wise but still enough variety for a lovely meal. Wine is plentiful and served by the bottle and they are more than happy for you to take as many bottles to your room as you want. Drinks good, never much of a wait but we mostly helped ourselves in the restaurants and at the pool. Cocktails typical hotel style, never as nice as bars outside the hotel. We had to pay for wifi, a card for 200 minutes costs 10 euros and 500 minutes is 20 euros. Remember to log off every time of you will lose your minutes! Entertainment mediocre. We watched the mama Mia show, looked ok but couldn't hear anything. There was entertainment in some form or another each night. The village of Stalis is a 10 minute walk away, some nice shops and bars there. Hersonissos is in the other direction, a lot busier there though. Overall the hotel is lovely. The grounds and gardens are absolutely beautiful and have the wow factor. Staff are all very helpful and polite. The entire place is immaculate throughout, well done! If in doubt, just book it. More
Came home yesterday from our third holiday at Nana Beach, and missing it already! Such a brilliant resort, in a beautiful place overlooking the clearest blue sea. We had a perfect sea veiw room, the one we requested, next to the pool, which was well worth the little bit extra! All the staff are amazing, always smiling and nothing is to much trouble. As returners we were invited to a Gala Dinner, where we were introduced to all the senior staff, all justly proud of their hotel. Lovely dinner, dancing, fireworks and we met some really nice people that we spent our evenings with! We always enjoy a" fly and flop" holiday, but if needed there is always something to do here! A week isnt really enough so will stay longer next year..of course we are going back, why go anywhere else!! Thankyou Nana Beach xxMore

Amazing hotel something for everyone !!
I have just returned from a week at the Nana Beach with my partner and 2 children 6 and 8. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting sometimes actually feels like you are in a small greek village, The Hotel grounds and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Lots of pools to choose from or the beach. Food pretty much available all day 2 main restaurants and snack bars which serve food until around 5 o clock. Lots of sun beds everywhere at the pool or on beach. In the evening we preferred to eat at the restaurant by the sea which seemed a little bit quieter and was in a beautiful setting. A la carte restaurants are nice and something different from the buffet Italian was especially lovely. Entertainment team what can i say shows were fab in the evening they works so hard all day and all night making sure people are happy, sports and games in the day, shows and dancing in the night. The girls that work in the children's clubs are fantastic thank you Charlotte for taking care of the international kids club my children loved it just wished they would have come sooner. The dance bar is a little something extra which is children friendly where they can dance a bit more after the shows. Previously i worked for Thomson for 8 years and i can honestly highly recommend this Hotel to everyone. High quality 4 star Hotel Thank you Nana Beach and everyone that works there for an amazing holiday. More

Why would you go anywhere else?
This was our third visit to Nana Beach and we'll certainly be going back again next year. This is 'all-inclusive' at its best. Service, food, amenities and services are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. Although on a couples holiday, it was obvious that children are well catered for as well. A good value holiday.More
