Lovely staff and complex
Lovely complex but much smaller than it looks in the brochure. Comfortable room overlooking the pool and beach. Resort pretty quiet and no evening entertainment so not much to do. Street outside with few shops and bars. Room spacious and comfortable and serviced everyday. First all inclusive where you've had to pay for soft drinks in the room fridge. Resort is not fully inclusive so if your on an all inclusive package you have to sign for everything. Means kids can't just go up and order drinks etc at the bar 😩Food in buffet restaurant is ok but not much choice and they don't cater for children. They do have a children's menu in the a la cart seafood restaurant but needs to be booked 24 hours in advance. Rep unhelpful on the issue of food for the children and is only interested in selling excursions. It also said in the brochure you had access to sunwing resort to use restaurants however just before travel we were informed by e mail it was closed.More
Theres more to Phuket than Patong Beach
After spending 5 days in Patong we moved onto the second half of our holiday to 5 days in what I can only describe as Phukets hidden haven. From the moment we walked into this hotel we felt relaxed and calmer than we bad in the previous 5 days. As crazy as Patong is Bang Tao is chilled and relaxed. This hotel is literally on the beach with 2 big pools and 1 kiddies pool. My first suggestion is pay the extra for a pool access room. Its not straight into the pool but only a couple of steps and your in. A long stretch of beach to take long unhastled walks. Hawkers only ask once and then leave you alone. and some of the best sunsets I have ever experienced. The staff are friendly but for some of them english is a bit of a struggle so be patient with them. There is usually some kind of activity to join in if thats your thing but mostly guests were on the sunlounges overlooking the beach or at the pool. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it. It is also an excellent choice for familiesMore

Very pleased with stay here. We had deluxe rooms so two bedrooms, both a good size and a good size bathroom also. Cleaned and replenished everyday to a good standard. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Pool fine and plenty of sun loungers but very close together. Reception staff very helpful. Beach beautiful. More
We stayed here for 2 days in a 2BR unit and spent most time was at the beach itself. Plenty of shade, sun loungers, swimmable sea, massages on the beach (clean n good price), good breakfast at the beachside restaurant. Tuk-tuks outside, 7-11 across. All v.convenient but food selections were average n so expensive compared to my last trip. Don't assume the rustic bamboo restaurants on the beach are cheap.More
Enjoyable stay but could improve
Lovely location and couldn't fault the room, perfect for us on ground floor over looking the pool, excellent breakfast also, nice to be able to walk outside to bars and restaurants. A few points that could be improved on 1.Around the pool quite a few broken tiles and concrete that need tidying up 2. Hardly used the swim up bar and didn't see anyone else using it as the bar faces the wrong way and it felt like at inconvenience for the barman to serve us. 3.found it a little strange that they didn't promote any drinks promotions or cocktails around the bars and lack on menus, I guess this because most people are all inclusive? These are just minor things and In all we really enjoyed our stay here More
