I am absolutely gutted about this experience as I booked the hotel for me and my partner and his best friend and partner for my partners birthday. It was a complete surprise for him so I tried to find a lovely hotel. I had an extremely disappointing experience at The Yard Hotel that involved both inadequate service and inappropriate conduct from the front desk person Andreas.
Upon checking into my room, I discovered that the Wi-Fi was non-functional throughout the hotel rooms, working only in the lobby area.

A Hygiene Disaster Completely Unacceptable
I stayed here on a business trip and was genuinely shocked by the state of this hotel. The first room I was given looked like it hadnt seen a cleaner since the 1980sfilthy and clearly neglected.

Had a wonderful stay for my birthday and really enjoyed this hidden hideaway. The staff were all fantastic, very helpful and attentive and made sure we were enjoying our visit to the city.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool, despite it being far from Berlin centre. When we arrived, we were told by reception that the pool was out of use for 4 months. No one notified us, and it was still being advertised with a pool.
