The hotel is an exquisite experience, each time we saw the restaurant and cafe it was breathtaking. The biggest issue was leaving the hotel to eat elsewhere, because the meals were so well done (breakfast - violinist - wonderful) and the ambiance was unmatched. Staff was helpful and not stuffy, despite some of our touristy questions. Will stay there again, hopefully to have a longer visit in this cultural capital....

Truly fabulous decor in this beautiful hotel with service and attention to detail to match. The best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I would happily return to Budapest just to stay here. Fabulous hotel deserving of high praise. We booked late but still got a decent rate for 2 nights. The hotel is unfortunately on the periphery of the city centre. Service is first class, the New York Cafe is beautiful but a tourist magnet, 3000 bookings every day so if you enjoy having your gold sprinkled coffee surrounded by tourists around your table taking photographs then go for it. I stayed in Anantara Budapest for about 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel has 2 sections : the old and new and I was out up on the newer wing. The hotel itself is very pretty and the lobby area is also quite nice. The hotel also has the famed New York cafe which is still just as beautiful as it's famed history states. Lovely hotel, breakfast fantastic. Staff very helpful indeed. Good location in the city. Staff were very helpful. Hotel is in a good location for getting around the city. Room was okay but lacked a bit of an impact to lift it. I would stay there again though....
