We recently stayed at D8 Hotel and found the experience to be average overall. The hotel is well located, with easy access to many key attractions in Budapest, which is a definite plus.
However, we were quite disappointed by the breakfast service. I requested gluten-free bread due to an intolerance, but none was provided. On a separate occasion, I was directed to rye bread as an alternative, which unfortunately does...

The D8 hotel is a lovely modern hotel, central to everything. The rooms are small but spotless. Very warm. Breakfast lovely, plenty of choice. Staff friendly. We arrived early but cpuld check in or leave our luggage in storage until the rooms were ready. The hotel was very quiet at night,no noise. Would definitely recommend ...

This hotel is very central and close to bus and metro lines. Room was basic but provided a comfortable stay. The weather wasnt the best and the reception can provide you with umbrellas if required. Breakfast was decent and I would advise going before 9am as it got rather busy and struggled to find a seat. Please note there is a Hungarian tax required to be paid on check out. Great location, spotlessly clean throughout and friendly staff. Really enjoyable stay - highly recommend.
Quirky decor, bar and areas in lobby to wait - able to store bags after check out before our eve flight home.
Breakfast was busy, good selection. Plenty of staff clearing tables, efficient in replenishing food and very polite and friendly throughout their busy morning rush.

After specifically choosing this hotel due to the hotel description that it catered for gluten free and lactose customers, I found the gluten free option very poor after checking and asking 2 members of staff what was available I was told only bread and thin crisp bread, as bread was the only option I asked for it to be toasted it came out not toasted so just a slice of bread!
