Lovely hotel

Had a lovely stay at Marmara Hotel. Very clean and nice breakfast. Staff were excellent and very helpful. A shout out to Peter who was fantastic.
This is a lovely hotel and very close to places of interest. We went on the tour bus and it was very good value as you can use tickets to also have a mini cruise on the Danube....

I stayed there...forgot something in the room...was told it wasn't there...it was of sentimental value...obviously the cleaning lady took it...the manager insisted this item wasnt there an wasnt interested in helping us any further...

The hotel is in a good location close to one of the main railway stations and close to tram and bus lines. You can walk to parts of the city from here but i would advise the tram from near the bridge to get the far side of the city. There are shops near by for supplies and a large shopping mall by the station. The hotel itself is good. Clean and comfortable room and bed. The staff were welcoming and would help with q...

Second visit to The Mamara and all very good except the heating/air conditioning control in room 614 which was broken.
Clean and quiet room and Nora on reception is excellent.
Be sure to visit the Matula Bistro over the road. Great food and service....

The location was good and you could walk to some sights and shops,
The hotel is kept clean and tidy everyday and rooms cleaned, the only problem we had was the rooms are all overlooking the restaurant for breakfast and from 7am to 10am all you could hear was scraping of the chairs, even 6 floors up you could still hear the scraping.
The beds (we had twin) were lumpy and uncomfortable but everything else was great, st...
