I selected this hotel mainly because of the view in travellers pictures, and because it wasn’t in Mykonos town.... It didn’t disappoint! The staff are lovely and so personable The food (we stayed on a half board basis, so breakfast and dinner) was delicious There is a different menu for dinner every evening, which is personally read out to you And so much food! 3 courses (including bread and dips) The rooms are very trendy Greek, which I loved, and also very clean Our towels were changed every day You can use hotel towels by the pool, but note that the pool area is a definite wind trap! It costs circa €25/35 Euro from Mykonos airport, and the same to Mykonos town One way The hotel is up a very steep hill, along a very tight/cliff edge road - but the views are worth it The hotel does have a transportation service, so may be easier to prebook that as we found taxis are very few on the island, and we had to wait ages in the queue at the airport.which after an early flight, to just want to get to your hotel Overall though, I would definitely go back, but only stay here! My only gripe is that reception wouldn’t put two sunbeds on my balcony so we could enjoy the view from there. But that’s my only negative! I wanted to leave this review because everyone at the resort was very nice and our experience was good. We are from the states and on a honeymoon throughout Europe, staying only a few nights in each place. So this review is only for 3 nights, not a long holiday like our fellow euro travelers. Wifi: solid with no complaints Food: we only ever ate breakfast here (the free breakfast) and it was fine. I would have preferred more protein and less bread, but then again most places are giving free breakfast full of breads and sugars and so this is typical and I can’t complain. They DID NOT offer eggs bacon sausage etc for free but offered what we would call in the US “lunch meat and cheese “ along with many breads, French toast, Greek yogurt and other things. So solid A for me since the lunch meat was good. Bonus: a sort of adorable little cat that hung around the breakfast area begging and letting you pet it. I like pets so this was cool to me lol Room: solid with great A/C. Never used the tv. They offer robes which is nice Views: pretty amazing - you are overlooking the kalo livadi beach portion of the Aegean Sea with the rocky cliffs and natural vegetation at all times very beautiful. Pool area: solid but quiet. The resort advertises itself as a quiet place so this shouldn’t surprise anyone but if you’re tryna turn up this is not the place for you! We laid out and read books or played on our phones when at the pool. Bali beds are first come first serve and FREE :) Beach : amazing honestly- crystal clear Aegean Sea waters and fine grain sands. Very little rockyness. It’s kind of cold but honestly was warmer than the pool water there. If you want a party hard spot probably book somewhere else but we enjoyed our relaxing stay in Mykonos and would gladly come back. Bonus info: if you are cheap and or poor like us it would behoove you to go to the super market in Ano Mera the Super Flora and get booze and at least some food but especially booze and water since the water on Mykonos is NOT drinkable.

We booked a 7 night air and hotel (half board) round trip from London through Thomson Vacations. We selected this hotel because it was not in Mykonos Town and we like a quiet time. The very first thing to say is that the views are simply stunning and you will never tire of the view from the resort. There is a bus service that goes from the beach parking lot below the resort into Mykonos Town every day. It is 25 minutes and about €2.30 single fare. There is a rather steep climb up from the beach area to the resort. OK for us but would be a problem for someone with mobility issues ... Just something to consider. The wait staff was excellent, we were greeted by name every evening when we arrived for dinner which took place on the outdoor terrace. However, allowing people to smoke during dinner is unacceptable, totally unacceptable. The room was sparsely decorated but in keeping with the Mykonos style. They upgraded our room which we greatly appreciated. The shower head needs some cleaning. Although the tap water was not drinkable, bottled water is not provided without a fee which seems inexcusable. Coffee pods are provided with a Nespresso machine but at a cost per pod (using water that you also must pay for). These few things really leave a bad taste considering the nightly cost.
