Ther hotel was realy in need to refubish and they had started. Hopefully will it be better when the work is done....

Scandic Grensen is a small and centrally located hotel, tucked away just off Karl Johan. Ive stayed here before back when it was Rica Grensen, so its been a few years. Despite the slightly hidden location, theres plenty of street noise trams on one side, delivery vans and nightlife on the other.

Wonderful personnel

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the hotel. The best staff ever were the Iranian man and the young woman originally from Northern Norway behind the Reception desk. They had big hearts and they made me feel like home. Don't ever lose them....

Its A hotel close to everything in downtown Oslo.
There was some noise from people and the trams outside. Hotel had a little poor lighting and walls were not very clean. Its a ok hotel for a short stay. Bathroom was ok. Bed was comfortable. .....

Tiny room, filthy carpets, good breakfast

Almost left after checking in. Had to put kettle on heater to find a working plug. Disappointed and would not return. They do offer a nice breakfast albeit in a tight space....
