This is really a two star than a three star hotel.
There seems to be some confusion with awarding star standards Spain which I have noticed before.
The room in the ground floor was quiet, which was good, but the whole feel was stingy. The air in the room was almost non-existent and it was difficult to sleep at night or relax. Paint and plaster was coming off the walls, the toilet flush was not working very well,...

Check-in for this hotel is around the corner at Halo Boutique Hotel. Staff was very pleasant and offered us a glass of cava. Casas de Santa Cruz is located in another building which has a beautiful glass and iron door before entering a tiled courtyard with a fountain and several chairs. Our room was upstairs, a double with a balcony. Room was small but certainly doable or so we thought until we started unpacking! ...

Great location, rooftop terrace, great breakfast, friendly but unflexibel personnel. When we arrived we were offered sparkling wine but the kids nothing which was quite awkward. Free orange juice for the kids was available one hour later when the bar opened. ...

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of everything. The room is quite small but that's what I would expect from a "boutique" hotel. It had everything we needed and the ensuite even had a small bathtub which was great for me and a bonus considering we are on the continent. Booked through Trip Advisor. The room was extremely small and had very little storage space. The balcony was a small shelf outside french windows. The bahroom would have been barely adequate but the toilet stopped working on the second day of our stay and was not fixed until five days later just before we left.
