Positive-
The location is good - its next to both a metro line to center city (only two stops away), and a tram line. Its also next to the central bus station.
Obviously there is a casino in the lobby, but per Bulgarian law (?) you have to show your passport first and get an entrance card (a pain).

Do not waste your hard earned money.
If you want a hotel full of smoke then go here
If you want out dated rooms then go here
If you want a terrible cold breakfast then go here
If you want hair and dirt from previous guests then go here.

My recent stay at this hotel was far away from tpleasant.
The cleanliness at this hotel was unacceptable. The bed was in terrible, very terrible. The room itself felt dirty and neglected, making it very uncomfortable to stay in.
I expected basic hygiene, but this was far below standard.
To make matters worse, the bar staff were incredibly rude and unpleasant, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Not a non smoking hotel

It was a lovely hotel on the outside appearance and the room was roomy, however there was no escaping the cigarette smoke. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke and had a terrible flare up. The spa was lovely and accommodating, however, it was not free of smoke pollution....

Stay started off real bad having been assigned a room out of commission (broken bed and generally looked like a riot had taken place). Of course, a new room was provided but quite an inconvenience to go back down and up their inefficient (time consuming) elevators and change floors.
