Beautiful renovated hotel - but work on garden courtyard just started may 19th - garden and spa closed

Very pretty well renovated hotel on fairly major road approx 15 mins walk to old town .
As at may 19th garden courtyard being rebuilt - so out of use I think for at least a couple of weeks - this also affects access to spa so also out if use. We were not made aware of this until 24 hours before so adding this here.
We used the spa before closure - but it is one floor underground and swimming pool 1m deep so not po...

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Comfortable beds, great amenities and particular mention and thanks to Vanessa, Nivaldo, Francis and Antonio and Laura. They were so helpful and understanding with our elderly mother and so we thoroughly appreciate....

This is an unfortunate situation as I think the staff try to be accommodating here but there were a lot of shortcomings.
Firstly, I did book this hotel because compared to other 5 star hotels, it is much cheaper. In addition the location is very good and close to the old town. But you do get what you pay for and in my opinion, this property is nowhere near a 5 star standard, especially in terms of quality of servi...

We had a very nice stay here. This was actually our 3rd hotel in Valencia on our trip and by far the best. We booked a Dreamer Double Room, but I believe we got upgraded due to being Marriott members (not sure what level we are). We had a pleasant two-night stay at Hospes Palau de la Mar, but I wouldnt consider it a five-star hotelmore like a four-star by European standards.
