Eclectic Ibiza

In addition to its impressive nightlife, Ibiza has a thriving artist community. On Saturdays, tune in to your inner hippie at the market just outside San Carlos to snag some groovy clothes or jewellery. It's a 25-minute drive from Sant Rafel. For another far-out experience, join the UFO seekers at the uninhabited island Es Vedra.

Beach action

A half-hour's drive from Sant Rafel lies the charming sandy cove of Cala Saladeta. Here, you'll find translucent waters and outstanding views from a cliff. For a closer beach, Playa d’en Bossa, just 15-minutes away, is Ibiza's longest beach and is a watersport hotspot with paddle-boarding, jet-skiing and kitesurfing.

Venture out

Further afield, San Antonio's got an aquarium set within caves. Follow the winding boardwalk separating you from the sea life underneath. Alternatively, head to chilled Ibiza Town – 10 minutes' drive away – where Medieval walls, cobbled streets and a historic cathedral slow the pace.
