Explore Chapora Fort

Chapora Fort is a 20-minute walk northwards and occupies a magnificent position on the headland. This fort was built by Goans before being seized by Portuguese occupiers in the 18th century. It’s popular with Indian visitors because of its starring role in the Bollywood blockbuster, Dil Chahata Hai. And if you go at sunset, the views of the Arabian Sea and Chapora River are exquisite.
