Follow in Leonardo Di Caprio’s footsteps on ‘the beach’

Nai Harn is a launching point for trips to the two Phi Phi Islands. The larger of the two, Phi Phi Don, is famous for ‘the beach’, where Leonardo Di Caprio shot scenes for the famous film. Elsewhere, it has a lively centre of bars and nightclubs, where you can sip cocktails in buckets and dance under the stars. Phi Phi Lei, meanwhile, is completely uninhabited. Coral-filled lagoons fringe its shores. It’s also home to the Viking Cave, where daring locals scramble to the top to gather the ingredients for bird’s nest soup.
