Stretch out on Sugar Beach

All of St Lucia’s beaches are open to the public, including the striking Anse des Pitons, also known as Sugar Beach. This strip of coast definitely lives up to its name. Unlike St Lucia’s native grey-sand beaches, Sugar Beach is made of sand imported from nearby Guyana, which is sparkling white. You’ll find this secluded bay sandwiched between the twin peaks of the Piton Mountains. It’s a great spot for watersports, especially snorkelling and kayaking. If you fancy a tipple, there’s a beach bar right on the shoreline, and a restaurant not too far behind.
