A day in St Johann
MorningPotter around the shops at the centre of town. For a unique souvenir, stop by Tiroler Kunsthandwerk, which specialises in handmade wooden products, from little spoons to large statues of saints.
Lunch
Swing by La Rustica and tuck into a thin and crispy pizza for lunch. It's in the centre of town along the main street, towards the railway crossing when you're coming from the centre of St Johann.
Afternoon
Make your way down to the Panorama Badewelt swimming pool. It features a large indoor pool, several outdoor swimming pools and waterslides. You could relax on a sunbed in the pretty outdoor gardens or spend some time in the traditional Austrian sauna.
Evening
Book a table at Finks, a restaurant opposite the train station. This is the best place in town to get steak, although there are lots of other appetising dishes on the menu - and there's a delicious selection of desserts too.
