Unwind on Terra Estreita Beach
Probably the emptiest of Tavira’s beaches, this pristine swathe of golden sand fully deserves its Blue Flag. Locals come here on weekends, but even then, you’ll rarely queue for a beer or a sandwich at the lone beach bar. And if you really want to be left alone, there are miles of footprint-free sands in either direction where you won’t see a soul. To get here, take the Safari Boat from the jetty at Santa Luzia village.
